Oregon coastal beach scene.
Themes of landscape and floral, visited and imaginary, are infused in Mary Lou McCambridge’s works. She draws from a well of images from sketches and photographs she has visited. A west coast inhabitant, she is fascinated with mountain, ocean, water, trees, flowers and now desert themes. Mediums are Watercolor, Acrylic, Mixed media, and Collage. Always interested in art, she started painting at the age of 8, with a set of oil paints that her father handed down. She was fascinated with making images and was exposed to some great painters, living close to the Seattle Art Museum.
